Larimar
Larimar gemstone is a variety of mineral called pectolite and can only be found in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. This beautiful stone was originally discovered in 1916, but was later discovered again in 1974 by a Dominican who named the stone after is daughter, Larissa and spanish word for sea, mar. Together, Larimar was created. Other names include Dolphin Stone, Atlantis Stone, and Stefilia's Stone. The eye-popping blue of this natural gemstone is sure to make your design stand out!
