Choosing the correct burs

Selecting the correct bur can seem daunting. We have a wide selection to choose from. Here is a simple guide of a few burs to help in selection.

• Diamond burs: These seem to be best for carving and sculpting.
• Stone setting bur: Use these sets to cut a seat for faceted round stones in metal.

Many of our burs can be attached to a pin press for ease of use.
